NEW ATTRACTIONS FOR UNFORGETTABLE FAMILY FUN
SEAWORLD SAN DIEGO
SeaWorld is San Diego’s leading tourist attraction and one of the most popular marine-life parks in the world. The founding principles of education, entertainment, research and conservation make SeaWorld an ideal place to learn about, enjoy and gain an appreciation for some of the ocean's most fascinating animals. SeaWorld San Diego has boatloads of reasons for every season to visit the marine-life park in 2011. From live concerts and fireworks, to seasonal shows, holiday festivities, community events and summer camps, there’s a whale-sized list of reasons to visit again and again. This year, the park is preparing to open two new attractions: “One Ocean” and “Turtle Reef.”
One Ocean (Opening May 28th)
Dive into the exhilaration of the sea with SeaWorld’s all-new Shamu show. This awe-inspiring killer whale spectacular immerses the audience in the energy and spirit of the ocean as vivid colors, lights and fountains celebrate the journey. Contemporary global rhythms provide a musical backdrop for the show, which teaches us that we are all part of one world, and that we all have the power to make a difference.Turtle Reef (Opening June 18th)
Get an up-close look at more than 60 threatened or endangered sea turtles and thousands of tropical fish, and experience a new ride that takes passengers on an exciting rescue mission. The 300,000-gallon Turtle Reef, which is the attraction’s focal point, will feature adult hawksbill and green sea turtles — some more than 50 years old — as well as younger green sea turtles that hatched previously at the marine-life park. Guests will also be able to use the latest technology to race to the beach and compete as different turtles or use Turtlelink, a touch-screen map that’ll allow guests to learn about SeaWorld’s rescue efforts and conservation, and track sea turtles in the wild.
GOOD TIMES ARE BREWIN’
Tasty Spots for Beer Buffs
Considered the Napa Valley of Beer, San Diego has a booming craft beer scene sure to make any beer lover swoon. Not only do industry innovators like Karl Strauss and Stone Brewing Company make their homes in San Diego, but with award-winning breweries like Ballast Point, AleSmith and Port Brewing/The Lost Abbey it is no coincidence San Diego was named “#1 Beer Town in America” by Men’s Journal Magazine in 2009.

Did we mention both tours include a stretch Hummer, Escalade or 300M to take your party from brewery to brewery? Cheers!
30th Street Corridor in North Park was lauded as “easily the nation’s best beer boulevard.” More than a dozen restaurants and bars located along 30th Street proudly serve local craft brews including beer-havens like Hamilton’s Tavern, Toronado San Diego, The Linkery and Ritual Tavern. Just a short walk east on Adam’s Avenue in neighboring Normal Heights, Blind Lady Ale House serves a top-notch selection including their own craft beers.
